This ongoing course covers the essential 2nd-grade math curriculum, ensuring students learn, review, and practice critical topics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, number sense, place value, time, money, geometry, measurement, and word problems. Perfect for homeschoolers, after-school support, and refresher courses!
Class Structure
Each class begins with a discussion about the week's topic(s) to assess students' prior knowledge. The teacher uses the "I Do, We Do, You Do" method:
I Do: Teacher provides an example.
We Do: Teacher and student solve a problem together.
You Do: Student completes a task independently with support as needed.
Classes include instruction, practice, and application problems (word problems). Optional homework and review material are available after class.
Flexible Enrollment
Students can enroll at any time, as classes do not build upon each other. Topics rotate according to a predetermined schedule.
